The Art of Serenading

Greetings friends,

Quick note to blogger: you suck. It won't allow me to fully post the proper chords of the following songs because it's officially silly. Such is life.

As of late a selected few of us in ye ole dorm 34 have been serenading many people, most often females. The proper way to do this is the following

1) Have a guitar handy with someone able to play
2) Have someone present (preferably a female as to not be awkward)
3) Complement the person by calling them a babe.

Below is the chords to some of our favourite serenading songs with lyrics. Simply add the desired name and go nuts. The day shall be yours.

Version 1

C G
Oh (name) , Oh (name)
C G D G
Oh (name) is such a babe.
Repeat

Version 2

Em D Em D
Oh (name) , never knew that you were such a babe.
C G C G
But tonight I'm on my way, tonight I'm on my way.

Repeat
(adapted from the Ben Kweller song "On My Way")

Because both these fantabular tunes are in "G" (I think?), you can play them right after one another without it sounding bad. Who knows, it might even sound good. Neat.
